[The cookies are rather tantalizing and delicious or so it would seem from the orange icing smearing the corners of Nie Huaisang's mouth. They're hardly filling, nowhere near enough to satisfy him, and he most definitely hungers for something much more substantial than these little treats. Still, they're better than nothing considering he hadn't even had time to eat breakfast before getting spirited away to this strange new world.
Once he realizes that he's not alone in the lobby and takes notice of the dark skinned woman with the pointy ears, he freezes in his unrepentant munching, much like a child who'd just been caught stealing treats before dinner. Once he swallows his mouthful of cookie, he answers in an equally weary tone.
